Which one do you need?
The nine tools overlap deliberately โ several answer a version of โwhat do I actually keep?โ โ but each is shaped around a different decision.
- Take-Home Pay Calculator
- You have a gross salary and want the monthly figure that lands in your account, with every deduction named. Start here if you are not sure which tool you need.
- CTC to In-Hand Salary Calculator
- You have an Indian offer letter quoting Cost to Company and want to know what actually reaches your bank once employer PF, gratuity and tax are stripped out.
- Old vs New Tax Regime Calculator
- You are an Indian taxpayer deciding which regime to declare, and you want the two run side by side against your own deductions rather than a rule of thumb.
- Freelancer Tax Calculator
- You are self-employed, or thinking about it, and need to know how much of a rate survives once you are carrying both halves of the social contributions.
- Bonus Tax Calculator
- A bonus or 13th-month payment is coming and you want the after-tax value before you spend it, not the number your payroll withheld in that month.
- Salary Raise Calculator
- You are negotiating, or have been offered a rise, and want the monthly take-home difference rather than the percentage in the email.
- Hourly to Annual Converter
- You are comparing an hourly or day rate against a salary and need both on the same basis before you can judge which is the better offer.
- Inflation-Adjusted Salary Calculator
- You want to know whether your pay has actually grown, or only kept its nominal shape while prices moved underneath it.
- Cost-of-Living Comparator
- You are considering a move and need the equivalent salary that keeps your standard of living, before you start negotiating for it.
How these calculators work
Every tool on this page reads from the same versioned tax datasets โ one file per country per tax year, each carrying the source URL and the date the figures were confirmed. Nothing is hardcoded in the calculators themselves, which is why a rate change is a data edit rather than a code change, and why the tax-bracket pages and the calculators can never quietly disagree with each other.
The calculations run entirely in your browser. There is no API call behind any result, so the tools work at the same speed regardless of load, and nothing you enter leaves the page. The trade-off is that they model a standard salaried or self-employed situation rather than your exact circumstances; the methodology page sets out what is included, what is approximated, and which sub-national figures are still pending verification.
If you want a figure for a specific country rather than a generic one, the country calculators apply local rules automatically โ filing status in the US, church tax in Germany, student-loan plans in the UK, old and new regimes in India โ and the country comparisons put two of them side by side.

Frequently Asked Questions
+Are these calculators free?
Yes โ every calculator on the site is free, needs no sign-up, and has no usage limit. There is a paid relocation report for people who want a written analysis of a specific move, but nothing here is gated behind it.
+Is my salary data sent anywhere?
No. Every calculation runs in your browser against tax data shipped with the page. Nothing you type is transmitted to us or to anyone else, and nothing is stored between visits.
+How accurate are the results?
For a standard salaried employee they should land close to a real payslip: the brackets, thresholds and contribution rates come from official sources, each recorded with a retrieval date. They are estimates, not payroll โ salary sacrifice, benefits in kind, unusual residency status and local levies below the level we model will shift the figure.
+Which tax year do they use?
The 2026 tax year across all 14 countries. Where a country runs a split fiscal year, the page states which one applies. Earlier years remain available on the tax-brackets pages rather than being deleted.
Estimate only โ not tax advice. Figures are estimates based on publicly available tax rules and may not reflect your full circumstances. See our methodology & sources (last reviewed June 2026). Always confirm with an official tax authority or a licensed adviser before making decisions.
